Assistance to soldiers, wounded and families of fallen soldiers
The Foundation provided significant assistance to ATO soldiers, getting food, medicine, and building materials to combat units, rendering financial assistance to the families of fallen soldiers, launching programs for the social adaptation of Ukraine’s defenders. From the very beginning of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, CF Maybutnie has focused its efforts on helping the front and the rear. Offices and transport-and-logistics hubs opened up in Chernivtsi, Dnipro, Lugano (Switzerland), Bucharest (Romania). More than 40 employees of the Foundation are involved in volunteer activities for collecting applications from regional headquarters in Ukraine and delivering humanitarian goods. These include program administrators and office workers, drivers and forwarders, warehouse staff and accountants. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation is the outstanding Ukrainian traumatologist with a world-famous name, Professor Oleksandr Loskutov, the author of 202 scientific works and 34 inventions. The Foundation cooperates with a number of European institutions, such as German clinics, Swiss public organizations, British charitable foundations, etc. Since the beginning of the war, the Foundation has organized the purchase and delivered to Ukraine the material resources needed by the Ukrainian front and rear for a total amount of about 400,000 euros. First of all, these are badly needed medicines and medical materials, as well as wheelchairs, first-aid kits, walkie-talkies, berets, warm clothes and shoes, etc.
Starting from February 24, 2022, CF Maybutnie has focused its efforts on humanitarian aid programs for the Ukrainian front and rear. Humanitarian aid is provided in various directions, primarily medical materials and food products. A separate important direction is the Foundation’s implementation of the "Protection Systems" Program. As part of it, we purchase equipment for Ukrainian soldiers. The first batch of sets of protective equipment that meet NATO standards has already been delivered: 15 body armor with armor plates of the 4th level with special bags. We have distributed the first batch between the Dnipro and Kyiv military units. The Foundation received thanks from the Security Service of Ukraine for its help in purchasing protection systems, namely from the III Department of the Main Office of Counterintelligence Support of Critical Infrastructure Objects and Combating Terrorism Financing.
KSG Agro is a partner of the Foundation's "Protection Systems" Program, as well as many other programs. Currently, 10 employees of the agricultural holding and members of their families protect Ukraine in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. CF Maybutnie does everything to ensure that they have all they need to perform this task. Company employee Olena Buravska is in charge of Novopokrovsky farm. Since the beginning of the war, her large and united family sent their second son to the front. CF Maybutnie and KSG Agro purchased a high-quality set of protective equipment for him, including a bulletproof vest and a first-aid kit.
"We see how Ukrainian mothers bless their sons for the protection of the Motherland. This is a great maternal feat of sacrifice and love. Society should appreciate it. It is very important that our heroes return home to their families not only with victory, but also healthy and unharmed", said Sergiy Kasianov, the founder of Maibutne CF.
